F.A.Q's

What's the process?

  • 1. Initial consultation
  • 2. Contract negotiation
  • 3. 50% non-refundable deposit
  • 4. Client produces content
  • 5. Presentation of initial designs
  • 6. Revisions
  • 7. Final file transfer

All website designs include an initial mock-up and two rounds of revisions. Final content must be sent and site mock-ups must be signed off and approved before we begin building the site. Any changes to design will cost an additional $85 per round of edits. Clients should provide their own original high-resolution images/photography. In the event a client doesn’t have high-resolution images, an additional fee will be added for the purchase of stock images (fees may vary). Clients must provide their own style guide (color palettes, typefaces, logo). Clients will receive two virtual (or in-person) tutorials once the website goes live. Clients have up to 2 months after launch to schedule tutorials. Clients have the option of removing “created by Ervens Achille” from the footer of their website for an additional $500.

How do you accept payment?

Once we agree to a contract, I’ll send an invoice. I ask for a 50% non-refundable down-payment before scheduling work. The remaining balance is paid in milestones specific to the project. Final files/artwork will not be sent until remaining balances are paid. Payments can be sent via check, Zelle, or CashApp. Note, all payment directions will be included in the contract.

How many revisions am I allowed?

Typically, clients are allowed 2 rounds of revisions.

How much does it cost to work with me?

It varies depending on what’s needed, but the pricing on here should give some good baseline information.

What should I bring with me as a client?

Clients will need to provide the following basic information and should expect some potential questions if they become pertinent. A list of things I will need include but are not limited to:

  • 1. Business/brand vision and mission
  • 2. A basic business description
  • 3. Target audiences
  • 4. List of services
  • 5. Complete content (for web design clients)
  • 6. List of comparable ideal websites

What platforms do you prefer?

Our websites are on a variety of platforms including Squarespace, Shopify, WordPress, Wix, and even custom-built from scratch.

Is the cost of my domain and hosting included in your fees?

No. Clients will need to pay for their own domain and web hosting in addition to the cost of design. I suggest purchasing your domain name through GoDaddy or a provider you feel most comfortable with.

How long on average do projects take to complete?

Typically 2 months.

Reactivation

Any projects left delinquent for over 30 days will be closed out. Clients will need to pay a reactivation fee of $150 to resume services.

Monthly retainer packages are available upon request.
